mrhaydon 0 Posted September 17, 2006 A slightly different version of the one I have just posted, with a selected light source on the foreground..for comparison. Just messing around with PS. Link to comment
reginapagles 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Very sad that someone would rate your beautiful photo a 4/4. In my opinion, something is a miss with the rating system. You have an awesome photo here, congrats! Regina Link to comment
beechcomber 0 Posted September 17, 2006 wow its a really nice angle you shot from! those stone fences in england are awesome to add as elements in landscapes. i think you did a really good job of this shot. its a cooincedance you used the sigma 10-20mm lens--i viewed a lot of great landscape shots from that lens! its in the works for me to get that lens soon as i can!!! thank you Link to comment

mrhaydon 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Thanks all for your comments. Yes the 10-20 Sigma is an awesome lens, better than the Canon equivalent (in my view), very solid and worth every penny. The rating system is perhaps the weak spot of Photo.net, and I am sure some people misuse it. But in the balance I have got used to it, I have seen gorgeous photos rated very low, and vice versa. But I always maintain that a good photo will get noticed sooner or later, I sometimes start at the bottom of the pile and work backwards. Link to comment

henrimanguy 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Excellent landscape composition. I like the light on the stones and the fence and the cloudy sky. Link to comment
