I love photos of old cars, this is a good shot, love your viewpoint. I notice you have reservations about the sharpness of the kit lens, I use mine a lot, and the photos are VERY sharp. Is your lens the mark II version? If it is the roman numeral II will be on the front of the lens. BTW, NEVER use that camera in auto mode, aperture priority or shutter priority gives much better results.

Thanks Jim for the very kind comments. Mine is version 1. Actually, I have three other lenses that I tend to use more often now. The sharpest by far is the Canon 100 2.8 macro. I also have a 75-300 and a Sigma 10-20.
