A beautiful shot in my opinion. A difficult one given the nature of the wolves. Especially a female wolf , black, which means she is low ranking or a loner. A very hard life for such a social being. She appears to be in good condition, and she is magnificent, cheers, Tony

Very, very difficult shot. You captured it quite well. You must be quick with your camera to get this shot as sharp as you have. I have been to Denali, and there aren't many opportunities to get these shots. Too many people around for them to show themselves much. Very well done! Krista

Beautiful shot Dan! Very sharp and at the peak of the action. I was just there and got some very long distance shots from the bus. Nothing like this. Were you hiking around by yourself?
