Yabguas, a hidden village in northern Soria, is well worth a visit

Me parace una maravillosa fotografia Alberto. Encuentro muy acertado el punto elegido para la toma. Precioso el castillo enmarcado entre la arboleda. Un cordial saludo.

I like very much the composition, with the castle seen between the hedge and the little tree, and the path leading the eye (and perhaps the walker) towards the castle. I think that you could crop out the houses in the left corner, in order to concentrate the composition on the strong elements.

I should be honored by some comments from you on my last photos if you have time.

Preciosa imagen, el muro de piedra del camino dirige la mirada hacia el castillo, entre la vegetacion. Me gusta la composicion.

Adem᳠nikon + velvia una combinacion excelente, me encanta esperar los revelados de las diapos, esa incertidumbre, esos recuerdos de cuando haces las fotografias y cuando las ves, que desilusiones y que sorpresas.

And to Henry, let me explain one of the reasons I included the houses: the one with the balconies is te small rural hotel where I stayed that night because I wanted to get up before sunrise and capture the early morning light.

Creo que es una de tus mejores fotos de castillos , todo esta en su sitio y con su color, en grande debe ser una maravilla .

Porque mas la veo mas me gusta. Una de las cosas que ahora me sobresale aun mas es la tredimensionalidad (?) una cosa increible y esos colores tan bellos. Sembra un'acquarello.

Dentro de lo que es tu tematica de castillos, esta la veo con distinta personalidad,sin cielo, y he de decirte que me parece colosal. Tiene un colorido muy bonito y esta muy bien compuesta.

I really like the setting for this. The purple-ish color on the hillside behind (is that the same as a close up from another recent image that you posted?), and the low wall in the foreground, seeming to create a path. And the tree is so charming. It all seems to make it a surprising place to find a castle! Nicely set!

Distinta a otras de castillos, me gusta por lo natural que resulta y los planos bien compuestos, pero...donde esten tus cielos! Siento ser el unico disidente.

Me gusta la foto, y me gusta el castillo, es como de cuento...No todo van a ser cielos!

Como dice Pepa no todo van a ser cielos y castillos. Tambien los arboles y las piedras tienen derechos. En esta la conjuncion de arbol,muro y castillo forman una excelente composicion.

Una imagen algo distinta a tus castillos habituales.

Dicho en español: Hago una confesión: esta es una de mis diez mejores fotos de castillos para mi gusto y mi opinión.

Magnifica composicion y encuadre, muy original, resaltando la belleza no solo del castillo sino del paraje donse se encuentra. El uso de los arbustos y el muro semi derruido dan autenticidad, interes y profundidad a la fotografia.

Good and very beautiful work. A nice composition and wonderful soft colours.

First of all, a very good composition, well chosen camera point and perspective. The lead-in is perfect, with the tree and bush guarding the view to the castle. Excellent. And the gentle light is wonderful. Debatable if there should be a bit more space for the tree at the top, not sure.

Maybe there should not be more space above the tree but some space above the castle would help, I think. So I would prefer a lower point of view and pointing the lens a little bit higher.
