pjmeade 12 Posted September 16, 2006 Hello Alon, I like this shot, it's very good, particularly the lighting emphasising her necklace. I also like the highlights on her face, giving her a glowing complexion. Had you thought about cropping out the pale line abover her shoulder? Best wishes. Peter Link to comment
alones 2 Posted September 16, 2006 Thank you All very much . Peter - I didn't crop the pale line above her shoulder because that's what gives depth to the scene . May be you are right concerning the small line . A great weekend to All :) Link to comment
cocasana 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Hi Alon, wonderful! Wonderful mood. I wouldn't crop it. Maybe I would clone away the bag's reflection on the very bottom. Link to comment

marco_ruggiero 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Great image Alon. I wouldn't touch a thing. A very spontaneous portrait that you have captured with hreat lighting and composition. I am amazed at the rendition of B & W and the graininess that IMHO adds immensely to this image. How did you do it? Great shot, very evocative. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I love the grain in the image Alon. I wouldn't change much either. Link to comment
alones 2 Posted September 16, 2006 Thank you All very much . Marco - It was taken at evening time and the light sours was a dimmed lamp light coming from above ' that's why it's so grainy Link to comment
sawicki 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Great painted with light. I like the grain - it works fine here. At first it seemed to dark, but after a while I think this is perfect. Showing what needs to be shown and hiding the rest. Beautiful work. Link to comment
sabina dorneanu 0 Posted September 16, 2006 The grain here is terrific and her forlorn gaze... is just so enigmatic and attracting. You make me gealous:) How did you manage to take this one? DId she observe you? Great, especially because of the darkness surrounding her. I can see the city inspired you... S. Link to comment
ZuikoD 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Alon, a very beautiful use of light and texture(grain). I would have liked to separate her head a bit more from the background so as not to loose the shape. Then again, it is just nip picking. peace Link to comment
alones 2 Posted September 17, 2006 Thanks Pawel , Sabina and David . Really glad you like it . Sabina - No reason to be jealous :) . She didn't notice me taking the photo , Was too busy talking with friends . I wonder what she will think of it if she see it Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Oh my god what a wonderful portrait!...The only thing for me is that her eyes are as beautiful as her smile and need just a little more light for my taste....it's an image to be very proud of! Bravoisimo... Juan Looks as though it was shot with Ilford 3200 iso...a classic look for a classy woman...Juan Link to comment
