Working late, I decided to stretch my legs a little. I took the office

digicam and walk over to our aircraft hangars. I found this beauty of

a Boeing 777 parked outside. Dusk was setting in, making for great

colours. So I took some shots. What do you make of this?

Nice, but it doesn't meet the standard of your 747 shot. Too much tarmac, not enough sky; the ladder and tow bar muck up the composition; the colors don't really zing.

Thanks for the useful critique! I too would have preferred the ladder not to have been there, but there was nothing I could do about it unfortunately. Also, this is a B777, very comparable in size to a 747, in other words, it's a BIG bird. I had to get up on a ladder myself to shoot it from this angle. I was going for head-on symmetry...
