markonestudios 4 Posted September 15, 2006 I was taking a stroll to our aircraft hangars when the photo bug bitme :) I went back to the office, grabbed our humble office digicam andtook a few shots. The day was overcast and I liked the interplay oflines in this particular shot. What say you? Link to comment
k5083 1 Posted September 15, 2006 There is some good geometry going in in that shot. Good choice for black and white. I appreciate the careful composition, i.e.: - Little sliver of tarmac at the bottom - Hangar roof just about hitting the upper right corner. - Hangar opening conforming pretty closely to rule of thirds on both X and Y axis Also, well exposed and good tonal range. Nice clear forms, good balance of lines, curves, shapes, empty space. I would rate this the best airplane photo to have been posted for critique in at least the past month or so. Maybe the composition could be improved a tiny bit by retouching out, or at least darkening, the tractor at lower right. But that's not essential and there is value in leaving the image unadulterated. Great stuff. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 15, 2006 Very well spotted and used opportunity! Very good, very graphic. You could probably sell this to the airline company. Link to comment

the_prem 0 Posted December 25, 2007 "MK" = Mark Kathurima Airlines? :-) Nice shot, very well composed. Especially impressed with the tonal range you got the struts inside the hangar. Link to comment
