i like the lighting and composition.

Love the tones & lighting & composition. I like the angle of the arms and the way the left arm leads you up to her face and then the eyes. Wish the face was facing a little more forward so the eyes weren't turned so much, but a minor point. A superb shot.

Joanna, I like this portrait a lot and the way the curtains in back add to the scenery of the shot. One one hand there is her stillness and calmness, with what appears to be a storm behind her. I like the imagery a lot.

 

Unfortunately because of your title I now have a song in my head I would like to quickly forget.

The outfit is wonderful. You captured so much detail. You can count threads on the sweater.

 

The background to left works. But I wonder if it was manipulated or what is going on with it. Is this the wind mentioned in the title? There is something about it.

 

I love the lighting. Not enough light on the background/hair to make them separate but I think I like it your way.
