Hi Allan. I agree with Thomas, but I'll try to be a little less harsh. It's true. This is not a photo and it never was a photo. Photo.net is pretty liberal about what they consider photography and what should be uploaded here. If there is at least a pixel of a real photo, they will allow it, however this does not seem like the case here. I'm not saying that you should stop posting here, but you mght not get a warm reception if you continue to post thse types of images. I would suggest to dust off your camera and go shooting.

To respond to you. Yes, most people on this site use Photoshop, myself included. I mainly use photoshop for a digital darkroom: cropping, saturation, contrast, etc..

 

I'm not against the use of photoshop for the other purposes. In fact, I enjoy some works created from photoshop.

 

I did not realize that this started out with a photo of the moon. I assumed it was all photoshopped and for that I apologize.

 

Allan, I did gaze through your portfolio and you do have some nice shots. I'm sorry if I sounded pretentious in my earlier comment.
