I like the composition but I'm not quite sure what the relationship between "100 damn guns" and the signpost shadow is. Perhaps I'm just dull. :) Thanks for sharing.

 

Uneasy image. I understand it. Good.

I don't get it either, but then I almost never understand the literal things in photos. The shadow's job is to serve as a dowel holding the layers together. Visually exciting and memorable.
