jana 1 Posted October 16, 2007 Hello Gerardo. Even an abstract image should follow some rules of composition. Infortunatelly in Your image I do not see any elements that I could build up an composition from. At least they are not dominant enough to work with them. but that is MO. cheers Jana Link to comment
azenall 0 Posted October 16, 2007 Exactly, Jana. No elements, no compos, no nothing. Only stucco in pure format (povera art?) Thanks for your visit. Link to comment
lauro1 0 Posted October 16, 2007 OK: No -nothing but texture, and texture is texture, that is all. Photography is photography and no painting. I understand you, Geraldo. (Por algo somos de Sama.) Link to comment
:-) Link to comment
zambaras 0 Posted October 18, 2007 I agree with the view that this is just a texture and nothing more. Thsi doesn't mean that a texture cannot be a standalone artistic photo (e.g. I like a lot your texture003 in your portfolio). But this one, I think it can only serve as part of a photo - for example, added as a layer to a portrait photo and playing with the displacement filter. Cheers Link to comment
