After the Fire

This is a photo of burnt tree trunks and fire weed. I panned the

camera vertically during a 1.0 second exposure. The photo was taken

in Kootenay National Park, B.C. Your thoughts or suggestions are

Good idea. Looks interesting, but is not yet an abstract image as it is quite recognizable what you had shot. I once made a similar attempt, by mistake. See the attachment. Best regards. Peter

Love the idea, love the results, and really love the tips for the technique (now I'm gonna go out and rip off the idea and claim it as my own :-)

Just curious, tripod too?

Anyway, really came out nice. As some of the less creative commenters would say (though I haven't come up with anything better here myself) "looks like a painting" :-)
