Are you becoming conceptual?

Clearly, the focus is where I wanted it to be. Where it ought to be, at least to my humble understanding of photography.

Yes, for me the focus is clearly where it should be, making the photo much more evocative. This out of focus background shows us all its beauty, pointing out the dream environment of the rising night; likely the sharpness would make the photo loss this fantasy' sensation. I only have a doubt regarding the table in the foreground, whose lighting might lead to a loss of this environment of fantasy. I would suggest to slightly cut the bottom side thus reducing the presence of the table and darkening it a little bit.

Realmente me parece evocadora, sencilla en elementos y rica en sugerencias, los tonos acerados me parecen un puntazo. En mi opinion lo tiene todo, incluido el foco, pero el arreglo de Manuel creo que ha quedado genial. Me hubiera gustado que hubieras hecho otra foto, no para sustituir sino para acompa?ar -ya se que lo podia haber dicho en el momento pero me doy cuenta ahora- la misma pero sin la silla.

Your option is interesting but mainly because it eliminates the round spot in the middle of the image, which might look quite incongruous.

Tienes razón, Pepa. Lo llevo pensando desde que la vi en el ordenador. Menos es más. Sin duda en la cámara no se ve todo lo que se debe ver.

A mi esta foto me encanta, la tonalidad y la composicion me convencen. Quizas sin silla.... no se.

José Ángel, traducción ya puesta y, por cierto, el que comenta luego da toda la razón al comentario pues insiste en que la foto hay que juzgarla en sus méritos, muchos, y habla de la foto en mayusculas...

Beautiful natural contrasts with the proper DOF (yes, the focus is where it HAS TO be). It makes me want to go there right now.

The focus gives a nice feel to the shot - rather relaxed and thoughtful. Good light!
