Popfashion 2006, dress design by Jukka Rintala

Shot in PopFashion 2006 event in Helsinki, Finland, during

Jukka Rintala Dress fashion show. In situ shooting aside

a catwalk can be difficult - the room is filled with artificial

smoke and vapours, the floodlights create horendous shadows,

and the color of the light varies. But the dress is oh so fabulous,

and the model too. What's your take on this?

yep, it is the infamous 135/2 killer lense at f2. This

photo opp was not the best way to test the lense as

the room was literally jam packed with that artificial

smoke/vapour. I was shocked to notice that the photos

had no dark end (levels 0....30) because of the reflecting

small particles in the air. All fashion shooters beware

of that stupid airborne stuff used to make venues more "cool".
