Perhaps you could come much closer to the turtle's face. It sort of looks like a patterned rock in grass. There is a bit of over exposure on the shell. also, cut out the extra grass on the bottom and left. Have fun

In some cases, a polarizer will help with the glare off objects. With small animals (and kids), it often helps to get as low as you can, even laying down on the grass.
