Wow - the colours are spectacular in this! Also a very good composition of the thingy! I love Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton - go on my sight and see the red cardinal thingy I also shot at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Some of the birds actually land right on your hands there. This ornage thingy certainly inspires me to go back!

Jan, Happy to hear this one inspired you. It certainly gives me reason to go back. I'm very happy with the result. The colours are compliments of Mother Nature paired with Velvia 50. Great combo! Your red cardinal shot is great, monotone for the most part, with the exception of the bird which really draws the eye. As for feeding the birds by hand, if your service is above par they'll sometimes even leave you a 'tip'. :-) Best, LM.
