Smashed by its simplicity ! Sorry that I couldn't be more constuctive but I find this image so rich that I have looked for minutes. (7/7 my first this month)

Very simplistic and very solid. I like the color, and I like the shadows, especially the angular ones on the wall. Nice job. Cheers.

Excellent abstract, white wall, type photo from you! I just love this. So different from you. I love the way the shadows work in this image, just throwing things off a bit. Sorry 7-7....good eye.

Nooooooooo ... I really OUGHT to take a photography class! :-) (See everyone, we get up really early here in Virginia ... to clean up after all of the hurricanes!) LOL!!

No, Will ... if you take a look at the previous shot, and also at the previous image in this folder, as well as this photo of Roger's, you'll see that a few of us PN-ers got together in Boston a few weeks ago. Linda Keagle said, "Hey - let's give ourselves the assignment 'Three', and take photos with that theme." So we did. :-)

How cool. So how do you all know each other? You might as well call it a photography class. All four of you are awesome shooters.

Thanks, Will. I "met" the three of those folks here on Photo.net. Linda & Sarah met travelling years ago, and both live in the Boston, MA area. Linda met Roger Keagle here on photo.net and they got married about two years ago. They are in the process of moving to Australia. We had a blast ... and I really learned a LOT from all three of them. You'll see some more evidence of that learing upcoming. :-)

I discovered Roger's work several months ago. He seems like a very nice guy and his photography is awesome. I would'nt mind taking a photography vacation. My dream would be to visit the Pacific Northwest and go shooting with Marc Adamus.

Will you point me out to his work ... pn's directory has about 57 "Mark Adams" listings. :-)

I have had the opportunity to meet several photo.net members, had a blast with each of them, and learned a lot from each of them. It's always fun travelling with other photographers.

Lou Ann, actually his last name is Adamus. He is in my opinion the absolute best landscape photographer on this site and any where else. The cool thing is that he's a beliver too.

Marc Adamus

I think that I need to learn to read! :-) Thanks for pointing me out to his stuff ... I'll enjoy browsing his stuff. Landscape is my favorite! :-D

This is a fascinating shot, Lou Ann! The three posts, the angle of the wall at the third point, the little triangle at the bottom - your numeracy skills are showing. I like how despite its minmalism continued looking reveals more - such as the shadows on the walls.

Beautiful abstract feeling, Lou Ann. I really like this picture very, very much. The choice of a subject, composition, framing and colours are all perfect. I love the association of the deep blue and the white ( two of my favourite colours!)

Thanks for your comments on my photographs, Lou Ann. This vertical composition is very interesting, and the bricks -which are part of the horizontal contrast, in my opinion are the 'secret' of this shot. Light is beautiful too. Regards.

Well, it was great to all be together. Four photographers on a mission. It was a blast! But as we found out...we were all together, but our photos were all very different, even working w/ different cameras. lenses, we all have our ways, and we all learned from each other. Four diferent vacations. We all see things in different ways.

Of couse, anyone coming to Boston just better let me know!!! (Maybe New Orleans someday.....)
