Lionel! this is very nice, The symmetry is perfect. I'd rather the wall behind the statue was less dark, and the shadow unpresent; hope u don't mind.

taken with great care, and impressive result. i always refill at wasserbillig on my way down south, and pass nancy swiftly. got radar-trapped near metz three times, what a scene!

Ah, this is gorgeous! (and, yes, lovely staircase, I like the way you presented it).

I would crop it differently, though, but then it would be my photo instead ;)

Wow ! Lionel ! Outstanding ! Beautifully caught symmetry highlighted by the statue's disymmetry. Congrats !

Lionel, symmetry works very well here. Nice variety of curves, soft lines and colors.I like the crop you did . A beautiful scene

Great find Lionel, this ornament breaks the scene nicely! The exposure is kick butt! I don't know which way to go now...can you let me in on this? (-:

I have been off for a while -just too many duties to face- and I note that this one has taken off in my absence !

So I would like to thank each one of you for the incredible praise here.

Charles, I was not sure either ... so I left it to keep the perfect square crop.
Ali, your opinion is interesting, thank you ! I suppose I could PS this and there to render the effect. I think this may be interesting.
Les, indeed, and all the praise goes to the architect here. I hope he reads this sometime, this is well deserved.
Sondra, Thank you ! This staircase is majestic.
Klaus, Thanks a lot for the praise ! you are definitely not the only one who refills at Wasserbillig and get trapped by radars in Metz or Nancy ;) Well, next time, would you like to stop home and have a beer with me ? PS: be careful, I heard lately that they have now negociated to forward the fines in Germany.
Vi, indeed, you should not be ashamed of YOUR results with this staircase.
Florin, yes, the statue is the only *thing* which is not symmetrical ... ;)
Pnina, waiting for your own vision next maybe ?
Biliana, un grand merci a toi !
Yann, indeed, indeed ... lol ... ;)
Andrea, THANK YOU !
Don, whenever you like, whenever you like ...

indeed in it's symmetry and colours, dear Lionel. Gorgeous spot, how nice for you to have it nearby! I would also crop that top bit off, I think, but then you might need a border...The non-symmetry of the statue is necessary, I think to the visual interest of the shot.

well, the more I think of it, the more I want to get rid of the top border too. Maybe I should try to "invent" the continuation of the top to replace it ?

Thank you Lee, for the kind words.

Looks like I'm late to the "museum party" that you've been having lately, Lionel. :)

This is so nicely done as well as the other ones in the series, keep up the great work!
