I love places like this, will buy a burger or dog everytime I walk by one. Like the tones and would look good in color too I think. Hope you have some more showing the people a little closer because they look pretty interesting. Are the condiments (vinegar and salt maybe) on the table for the fries? Can't you guys just use ketchup like "normal" Americans? Any way, fun shot that puts me in a better mood this morning.

Until you have tried a bacon roll with brown (HP) sauce, you just haven't lived. Here is the colour rendition.

A frame within a frame within a frame, what a delightful image. The contrast in line and texture between the apron and the back wall just keeps pulling the eye back until the detail is exhausted and the beautiful sky and trees calmly lead the eye to the condiment table and on our way, satisfied, out of the picture. Thanks for posting, very nice and unique.

Samshing shot, Peter! The whole thing has a great atmosphere added to by the clouds. I agree with Tim that the people look interesting subjects too.

Hello all, I took a couple of photos of the people in the stand, but was trying to geat breakfast. The apron looked a bit scary, so I employed the better part of valour.

Hi Peter, this is another good photo from you. Classical and very effective, the excess of PS filtering has added in fact a certain degree of surrealism that I think improve the final result. Regarding the framing, my first choice would have been placing just opposite the subject, but looking the image probably the slight tilt adds dynamism. Perfect tone also.

Hello, good to hear from you. I had done a bit of extra dodging and burning and hadn't realised how obvious it was until after the shot had been posted for some time. As the shot has been surprisingly popular, I decided to leave the image as it is.

Gerald, I see what you mean about being surreal, I think it comes from the 24 mm end of the 24-105 and an awful lot of PS. Many thanks for looking and commenting.

Best wishes. Pete
