This is probably my favorite shot from my whole trip last summer. AND ... it happens to be the last upload from that trip, at least for the time being. (Yes, Sarah - you'll be seeing some shots from my trip to Boston soon!)

I had to fix the perspective a little bit. Also, the tiny spot of green at the bottom right corner bothers me a little bit, but to crop it got rid of other things that I didn't want to get rid of. I tried several different crops and didn't like any of them, so I left it in. What are your thoughts?

Lou Ann, my favorite, it is very well exposed, ballanced to perfection. simply beautiful! 7/6 for you, 6/6 for the net ;-))

i can see why this is your favorite. it is really beautiful. everything works well here. i actually like the bit of green in the lower right corner. i think it adds a little depth to the field and ties in nicely with the patch of green grass in front of the church.

I really like the way the church is "glowing" in it's wonderful gown of white and graced by the surrounding fields of grain. A beautiful setting for the house of God.

Nice landscape, very well composed, well saturated colours, excellent exposure. I appreciate particularly the relief of the clouds. You shot it at an excellent moment with the sun relatively low on the horizon and giving a light not too harsh. Even the white wall of the church is not overexposed. This is what I would like to see more often in your portfolio.

Thank you for your comments on my recent uploads which have received rather little for the moment. Lou Ann, give me your secret : what can I do to get so much comments than you ?

Lou, nothing can be more Danish than this photo of a corn field, a gothic church with white walls and red roof and the flying clouds. I know that it is almost impossible to protect the details in the white walls, but I would lower the white slightly in PS (I know that I repeat myself!!).

Anders, thank you for your comments ... and for digging into my portfolio to find this shot. I have blown it up to 20"x30" to frame and hang on my wall. :-) I never thought to concentrate just on the wall of the church. It would certainly help ... it's the only "hot spot" in the image. Thank you for the idea ... I'll have to try it. :-)
