Texas sunflowers await the much welcome rain from an approaching storm.

I shot this a few nights ago when a line of summer storms approached

the he city (I am an avid storm photographer) and was surprised to

find at one of of my favorite viewing spots, a field of Texas

sunflowers. Exposure was 15 seconds, wide open. I used a flashlight to

light the sunflowers in the foreground. I color corrected the image

in PhotoShop CS to make the image look more natural (a mix of

artificial light coming from street lamps tinged the sky pink) and I

burned and dodged the entire image to help highlight the contrast in

the roll cloud and sunflowers. Weapon of choice is a Canon Pro-1.
