Guest Guest Posted August 25, 2006 Good catch! I like the dark background on the right and position of the hummer on the sweet spot. There are, however, some issues with burned out highlights. How was the exposure determined, matrix metering? Or was it done manually? Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted August 25, 2006 Julio - las gracias, intenté algo diferente este vez. Tomo los hummers con muchos de color pero deseé generalmente ver el efecto sin muchos de la distracción. DaveArthur - I usually have it set on spot metering. I really don't have much time when I'm "stocking" hummers so it's just what has given the most consistent results. The jasmine with it's waxy leaves would have exposed well with a polarizer on but... I really thought with the light coming through the leaves instead of reflecting off of them would have been OK. I can always do a ND on the original but I really hate making too many adjustment. Thanks for your insight Arthur, I'll attempt some matrix metered shots which I haven't tried yet.
