Wonderful colours and details but what i love most is the background,the pine needles and the perfect DOF make the photo looks like painting!

Kim, this is a terrific bird portrait. Beautiful colour and pin sharp showing great detail. The background has nicely muted colours which contrast perfectly with the vibrant colour of the bird. The DOF is spot on, throwing the background out of focus just enough to retain a little bit of interest and not take any attention from the bird. Great job, very well done!
