Time to Land

Looking off my back deck I saw this. Critiques are very welcome. As

a matter of fact would someone talk to me. Anyone! Anyone at all!

I absolutely love the colors of this sky! I also enjoy how the baloon is a black in contrast. This is and the baby are my two favorites.

very nice backlit picture with a magnificent sky well exposed. maybe another shot with the balloon filling a larger portion of the frame, perhaps a vertical.

 

i know that getting comments can be difficult here. best advice is to be active in your comments on others work and not to get discouraged. keep shooting.

Nice view from a deck! Your main subject is the balloon but the overexposed sun area fights very hard for attention also. Would have been nice if the balloon eclipsed the sun but I guess you don't steer it. The position of the balloon is a bit high for me, not landing. I would have taken another photo when it's a bit lower either to the right or left so that some more of the dramatic clouds are revealed. Nice clouds and sky colors. Happy shooting.

You are right, I took about 25 shots, and I was hoping it would drop down by the time it got closer to the sun, but as luck would have it they fired their gizmo or what ever you call it and it went even higher. This was the only one worth keeping. I agree with you assestment, it would have also been nice if the sun was closer to setting. Timeing is everthing as they say. Thank you for commenting. Its greatly appreciated.
