uneboite 0 Posted August 21, 2006 This is a nice portrait, however some minor corrections may improve it a bit imho. First in her blouse, hairs and her nostril we can see jagged line that can be due to the reduction method you used and/or the sharpening method and amount you used. Sharpening should be used with care and love :) also I would clone the whitish spot in the upper left corner. Best regards Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted August 21, 2006 She's very beautiful, but the pose creates wrinkles in her neck. Link to comment
olli.pekonen 0 Posted August 21, 2006 Yes, I agree - I should have been more careful in sharpening. About wrinkles - well, getting rid of every nonideality of the skin area is a well known regime in contemporary fashion work, but still I prefer to leave the skin as natural as possible. b_turner 0 Posted August 21, 2006 The jaggies can be controlled via prudent sharpening. As far as the wrinkles are concerned, editing or 'airbrushing' them out digitally is certainly an option, they can also be minimized or eliminated via control over the pose as well. Lots of things to keep in mind and look for through the viewfinder... - brent Link to comment

olli.pekonen 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Thank you Per for your kind words! I have beena fan of your top notch portraiture ever since I joinedphoto.net about two years ago, so this feedback fromyou is especially valued. Nina is a down-to-earth stunner from Oulu, Finland. Sheis a tad too short to be a supermodel (barely 170cm)but I'm sure she will have a bright future in whateverroute she chooses. Link to comment
