dave_dube 10 Posted August 21, 2006 If only one flower is to be in focus, which would make it more appealing? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 21, 2006 Superb! I'd just erase the thin thread between the two petals. Link to comment
Stock-Photos 1 Posted August 22, 2006 I disagree with removing the thread. Spiders deserve respect. Fantastic image Dave. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 22, 2006 Spiders deserve respect: )) I agree. Like the green background, I guess. Maybe it would have preferred to be more in focus. (just kidding). Link to comment

dave_dube 10 Posted August 22, 2006 Thanks guys for leaving feedback. I've never cleaned spider silk from flowers and actually, never thought of doing that. Yellow flowers have always been difficult for me during sunny days. Now that I have a fast enough lens, I've been using my polarize filter. Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted August 24, 2006 Thanks Francesco! Interestingly, on the critique side the photo seems to be getting positive acceptance. Conversely, on the ratings side less support for aesthetically pleasing. Blending that, I'm wondering if both flowers in focus might have delivered a more visually pleasing image. Thoughts?
