Definitely accomplished your goal. You might try decentralizing the subject or even skewing it so the windmill seems to grow from the corner somewhat to give height an even more dynamic feel.

I agree with Michael, this is a great shot and the tones are wonderful. I might try and burn in the clouds a little but other than that I really like it a lot! Keep up the nice work!
