gerardo buen trabajo en las 2 fotos, en especial me gusta esta, creo que el uso del grano en las 2 estuvo muy bien y el tratamiento de color genial. me gusta mucho esta por que parece una fotografia sobre una pintura a carboncillo o lapiz. el uso de las sombras esta muy bien. felicidades !!

Efectivamente el truco esta en combinar grano en la piel y el fondo y potenciar la textura del jean, incluso, en este caso, coloreandolo. La luz fue muy sencilla: una ventana al oeste y a la izquierda, eso si, antes del mediodia, para que la luz fuera suave, pero no difuminada. Lo mas dificl: hacerse la foto a uno mismo.

Aqui pones en marcha a tu querido Maestro Cartier- Bresson... el solo decia,, hay que fotografiar lo que ves...plasmarlo si puedes igual, nunca mejor, has combinado como bien dices una parte de la imagen como Velvia a 1.600 ISO de las antes, o sea grano y luego en la parte del pantalon,,,me pierdo no tengo ese domio del PS. aunque si lo quiera, un buen trabajo Geraldo. saludos.

Julio, sober PS tienes un libro basico y muy decente para fotografos que te cuenta lo mas esencial de forma clara. Es de la editorial Anaya. Hay versiones para cada version del PS. Lo encontraras por unos 50 euros en librerias, en la seccion de informatica. Yo uso el PS CS, y estoy encantado. Aunque no se debe abusar de el. Como siempre (y como antes) lo mejor es hacer bien el negativo, en este caso el negativo digital. Cuanto mas se manipule la imagen, peor. Lo mejor usar formato RAW y trabajar en 16 bits al principio, eso reducira los defectos de imagen. Al final pasarlo a 8 bits y rematar lor ajustes.

I am not usually a big fan of leaving part of the photo in color and the rest in monochrome, but this one works very well. Good light and composition. I like the 'grainy' look to it. I like the shadows. I would not remove them to create one of those pretty squeaky clean ad shots. The shadows and grain are the best part of this photo.

After considering a crop and a more square format, I came up with this. I like the negative/dead space in relation to the active/positive space in the forms. Not better, just different. Hope you don't mind my stealing the photo.

My intention in this photo was to combine the texture of jean with the grain of the body and bottom, but I believe more that the body the bottom has left patch, than they jean. In the image that you croped, when single leaving they jean, stands out plus the space. Perhaps you are right and on the back. That square frame but just by the jean in color and the bottom in B&W.
