It's a great scene, but the lack of contrast in the foreground makes it a bit of an unfathomable mess, I'm afraid.

Beautiful colors and movement. I've never been to Iceland, but this is what I've imagined it's like. Great image!

Olgeir, I have been all around Iceland I have friends in Snaefelsness, I loved that island because it has a pristin appearance. This image reminded me many of the beautiful landscapes there.It is a ballanced composition, good light and an unusual forms of the rocks and water in the fg. .I like the muted tones and soft orange light in the BG.You have a beautiful collection of its landscapes.

Congratulations on a lovely image. The feeling of enveloping light is very beautiful. Your landscapes of Iceland are as a group quite fine. I have been enjoying them greatly.

Placing the sun behing the large rock outcropping not only solves a dynamic range and flare issue, it also gives the picture a serene, peaceful quality.
