Nice capture! Maybe you should have included the subjects feet. I think it would have added the final touch. Keep um coming. Congrats.

Alex I love what you're doing here. The illustrative quality is wonderful and the exposure range really accentuates it.

What an effect you have going on here, I'm imagining some fg contrast adjustment for your main subjects completed your effect. What I especially like are those palm trees growing on the roof!

GREAT, and I am not talking about the palmtrees on the roofs, ofcourse it is special, but the contradiction in youth and old, straight and bend..... ah you understand, I like it a lot

Ronnie, you're right, it would have been better with the feet included but despite the appearances they were quite fast walkers!...

Arjen, I didn't know that particular photographer, but now after a search I got to see his work and I really happened to like it a lot. I'm flattered with such comparison, but that guy is a real master from a much higher league than mine! Thanks a lot anyway.

Carl, weirdness and the bizarre do fascinate me indeed =)

Kent, I'm glad you like it and thanks for viewing.

Don, you imagined it just about right. I increased contrast and dodged some highlights on the ladies to 'separate' them a bit from the busy and somewhat confusing background where even palm trees grow on the roofs :D

Els, you seem to have understood perfectly what I found special about this scene. Always so nice to read you.

Todd, I understand why it may look like a composite shot, but it is not the case. As I wrote above to Don, I increased contrast on the main subjects and added a vignetting effect to the background to bring out the two passerbies.

This is very, very funny. I mean, the young one can take a look at her left to see how she is going to look later. If she does that, she won't be that merry anymore:) Now I'm mean... The old one, obviously, doesn't want to look at her right, cause she prefferes to ignor younger people - it's like they are aliens, no longer from her world. Great one, Alex! Cheers, s.

I'm absolutely charmed and hipnotized. Very psychodelic vision of time passing. It brings to my mind Jean-Pierre Jeunet's movies. Great job with composition and post processing. Big congrats.
