Guest Guest Posted August 21, 2006 Interesting that two of the ladies in the background are not looking, and two other people have hidden their faces from view. Your idea or theirs? Although I do notice that one person is sort of peeping out from behind the cardboard. I think this is a fun shot. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted August 21, 2006 Desh, Perhaps not awesome but I am glad you like it. Alon, I too liked the composition of this one. It is good to know others appreciate it. John, I am humbled. Bob, You humble me too. Jim, The main model in this picture contacted me and asked me to photograph her in the street. That was her idea. Whilst walking around we stumbled on these 5 ladies. While the main model was touching up her make up I pointed my camera at the 5 others. The didn't seem to mind what I was doing and so I asked the model to stand there. I think the result is amusing. I maybe should have done a little post processing to make the photograph more dramatic but in the end, this was all a bit of fun. Thanks everyone. Link to comment
Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted August 22, 2006 very interesting shot. the reaction of the folks makes it very genuine and even gives it a bit of intensity. If I had tried a shot like that I think they would be flinging their chairs and stools at me hehe, so its actually brave shot too. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted August 22, 2006 Bilal, I think the word you are looking for is cheeky. I am surprised they didn't throw anything at me... I was expecting abuse! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 23, 2006 Hmmm, very nice! HK would be a great place for an outdoors model shoot. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted August 24, 2006 Thanks Tim. I wish I could explain to you how true your statement is. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 24, 2006 But it would be incredibly difficult to do a nude model shoot on the street! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted August 25, 2006 Perhaps you are right Tim. Then again, perhaps you are wrong. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 25, 2006 Well, that's not a nude and it's not exactly in Statue Square. But it is a model, granted! Link to comment
