Well, I dont like this but let me explain why and I hope the photographer will take it on the chin and not be disheartened. We all have more to learn at photography, thats for sure. OK - I dont like the models posture, she seems slumped in the seat, the fingers might be an afterthought or just a poorly chosen gesture but it doesnt help. The lighting is bad, maybe fill-flash would have helped in that respect. Composition? I dont like the way she's cut off at the waist, makes me wonder if she has legs at all, let alone another arm on her left. Did she need shades if she's sitting in shadow? Technical details said f1.8 but is that just maximum? This looks like it has more dof than that and I'm not sure thats a good thing. I'm sure the photographer can get better portraits than this. Dont be afraid to critique your own work and I'm sure you'll produce much better shots. Good luck.
