billysyk 0 Posted August 19, 2006 If this was a projection he would have rocks on him. So the projection is backlit. The main lamp is at the level of his feet and a slight circular vignetting to black can be seen on the edges of the photo. I assume there must be some sort of planetarium, or a big backlit advertise. Otherwise its a copy paste in PS which I dont think so much. He seems amazed with the printing and the size also. I am too with your perspective. 7/7 for broading my mind Thank you Link to comment
kentb2 0 Posted August 20, 2006 Strong concept and execution Mike. The scale and lighting are fantastic. Well done. Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 49,760 Posted August 23, 2006 Thanks for the comment Ken, There was just enough light in here for that 400 film. This has been significantly cropped, was lucky to get this guy. Billy, this was shot in an art gallery. Those white objects I believe must be rocks [or at least made to look like rocks] & each one is suspended from the ceiling. Lucky we can't see the wires. dberryhill 3 Posted August 23, 2006 Fascinating, eye-catching shot, Mike. For me, it has a 'Man Pondering the Mystery' feel. Perfect exposure. It's my new wallpaper. BTW, I tried to email you at the address provided on PN, but it bounced back. Out of date address? Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 49,760 Posted August 23, 2006 Yeah, it's been goofed up for some time. I'm at mikemarcotte386@comcast.net. I goofed up a long time ago. not Pnets fault, I thought I had yours too but I must've cleaned out my address book. Still about 50/50 for the Smokies trip. Link to comment
