mozgur 0 Posted August 16, 2006 I went out to see the sunset after a late summer storm. beside the color change, reflections etc, I was facinated by the elusive movement of the fog formed on the lake. When breeze blow towards me, you can see individual strands of vapor flying on the surface, creating a surreal effect. unfortunately, without a secondary light source, i could not capture the fog closeby. it looks denser far away, hence it is easier to record 'em at far edges of the lake. enjoy, Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted August 16, 2006 Fabulous shot, perfect exposure. One of the best of its kind I've seen. I think I will rate it! Link to comment
bigginger 0 Posted August 16, 2006 Nice shot with a lovely range of tones and colours 6/6 Link to comment
marc_sobers 0 Posted August 16, 2006 A beautiful shot! You should try and sell it to a kayak or outdoor supply company! Are those the true colors? I've rarely seen a sunset with such a defined line between colors. Link to comment
mozgur 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Marc, I am not sure what part of the color change looks unnatural to you, all I can say is that there are two changes I made in the sky: first the saturation level was increased; second, the top edges of the clouds were blurred. I hope this answers your questions. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted August 19, 2006 Beautiful composition, colors and rendition,Mehmet. I have slight reservation about the amount of saturation of colors.Blurring has been effective. Link to comment
