sandy_furlong 0 Posted January 14, 2002 that's a grat shot that definitely has rock star written all over it--there's no mistaking that guy for someone in a roadside honkytonk, even though there's not a single audience member to be seen. his posture and his solitude tell us how lonely it is at the top. you should do him the courtesy of telling us his name (in addition to the fact that he is the blues traveler guitarist), or else leave him altogether nameless and elevate his image to the eminence of high art by titling the piece simply, 'Rock Star.' lallisig 0 Posted May 4, 2003 Love the mood. Very original but... I like the idea, not the outcome, hope you understand what I mean and don´t take offense. I would like to see it just a little bit brighter but I don´t know if it would work like that... Link to comment
johnsloan 0 Posted May 4, 2003 Larus, thanks for the input. I too agree that it is a little dark. Maybe I will try lightening up a little when I get the chance. I was also toying around with the idea of cropping in tighter, but opted to keep in the circle of light in the upper left. What do you think? Link to comment
lallisig 0 Posted May 16, 2003 Well I wouldn´t crop it much and definately keep the circle. That´s one part about the picture I like, it keeps you guessing what is in the shadows so I would try and keep all parts in that are already in the shot. Link to comment
