aepelbacher 0 Posted August 15, 2006 I'm not sure about this one. The sky was weak (rainy most of the day, but it was the only day that I had in Copenhagen). I made the sky B&W and increased the contrast. In this one, unlike the other image from Nyhavn, I don't think that the people take away from the image (everything that you see under those white overhangs are hundreds and hundreds of people....) What are your thoughts? Link to comment
rwangsa 0 Posted August 15, 2006 amazing, very artistic! it would be great if you increase the saturation a lil bit to show off the color Link to comment
dom67 1 Posted August 15, 2006 great composition, I like colors and view angle! I would have used a graduated ND filter to "discover" details of sky well done Domenico Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted August 15, 2006 This is the classical view of Nyhavn - The New Harbour - and as you can see it ain't new at all. Maybe a polarizer would have shown off the clouds some more but as far I remember it was one of those days with a not very nice grey and boring sky so I'm not sure there were any otehr clouds than the one to be seen in teh left part. Absolutely a special place in Copenhagen but also very touristy. The sign saying "Havfruen" means "The Mermaid" and I bet that's the name of a bar or something like that. Nice colors and a nice composition here Lou Ann ... I only wish if the sky would have been nicer to you that day. I remember very well our talk of having 'fake skies' in our private catalogues. Glad you didn't use one here. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted August 15, 2006 I would like to suggest you to darken the sky if possible, or to change it, but I feel that it will be rather difficult with all these masts, strings and aerials. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted August 15, 2006 Looks a nice colourful place. I agree with henri about the sky. Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted August 15, 2006 I really like this one because of all the colors! Very beautiful spot, captured well! Link to comment
