Worked in PS a great deal. I have been working on this image for sometime now. Off and on one might say, I had it up on this site once before, but there was still something about that did not sit right. Venice is such a magical place and has been shot to death. But I wanted a more impessionistc feel to this canal shot I found as we were trying to find our way back to St.Marks in the quickly falling night. I was rather burned out from all the shooting but had to stop for this shot using my son's shoulder for a tripod. I used lots of tricks in PS to create this image as if seen in a dream or memory.

Comments wanted on this image. I Think I have finally have it were I

want it to be. Trouble with PS is that you can work it and work it.

Like a painter or potter, learning when to stop it the trick.

As a rule (I have very few!) I think it is easy to overdo PS. But you have somehow created a nice piece of art. It has an "old masters" feel. The subdued colours and much of the story told in the reflection...well it is probably better than the rating I gave it (you), 7 and 8. Maybe more of a 8 and 9. This has the look of a money shot. I appreciate you sharing.
