I like the angle in this shot Henri. Great colours and light too though I think the left bottom part looks a bit cluttered and it will be caused by the reflection of the branches. But to me it disturbs the calmess of the composition. Anyhow a good picture and a lovely impression of the Scottish landscape.

Salut! Ada:)

I prefer the original though the bright reflections bottom left are attracting too much attention. I have quickly darkened them down by layering some darker reflection from the loch over them.

Thank you Colin. There is another possibility which is to crop out the extrem left part, as above. What is your opinion, Ada and Colin ?

For a part I like your last version Henri. By cutting off at the left you have solved the problem of the unquiet piece in the composition, though in my opinion it's a waste that by means of cropping you have lost the beautiful shapes of that naked trunk and next to that, the composition gets out of its perfect balance (division of the surface). If you are able to implement the treatment you have given to the waterpart in front (make it more smooth and I think Colin has already done a good contribution in that direction) there is no need to crop your image. I wish you success, Henri! Greetings, Ada:)

Interesting discussion here, I like both ideas, the darkening of rocks with distracting bright areas in the LL as well as the crop idea. But with cropping you lose the water / reflections on the left side- a drawback compositionwise. What about a selective burning of the rocks, letting the water untouched ?

Thank you Carsten and Ada. I admit that I don't know what to think about this bottom left side. Anyway, the suggestion made by Colin seems to me a bit irrealist because I don't see why the reflection here could be darker than around. I admit that it can be more attractive and distractive and then, in my opinion, the better is to crop it out.
