The Loch a Ghroisg and the Sgurr a Mhuilin

This is another view of this loch and mount that you can see in my

Scotland folder. I had totaly forgotten this shot, having probably

thrown away the paper print from the photo-lab in 2002. When I have

scaned the negative recently I have juged that it was not so bad.

This picture is not bad at all Henri! It's a wonderful shot. I love the serene mood in it. The successive layers of different colours and shapes blend into each other to one beautiful entity.

Beatiful study in greys and whites.

Impressive view. Not sure about the mid/mid composition, but i think you made best of it, still pretty photo.

I like the layers, and the restricted color palette. Also nice echo of cloudscape and mountain lines. Maybe I would go even more panoramic and crop a bit of the bottom part.

Thank you for your comments. I agree with all, the serene mood, the layers, the study in greys and whites. Carsten, I have thought to this possibility but I wanted to keep the large smooth and grey surface of the loch which makes contrast with the mountain.
