Way to look up Pnina! Great texture on the bumpy building. I hope that's an angel up there watching over...

Don, Yes it is an angel up there, looking back at me;-)) and maybe keeping an eye on us...

Hiroya, Yeees! the 10-22mm, bought with you in Japan, it is really one of the few photos taken with it that I'm really sutisfied with its result! I did not work a lot with it, but I will work now more.

Technical details : Iso- 100,F-8 FL- 10mm ,SS- 1/200

Unusual and interesting perspective P. I see you have a 30D and 10-22 now - enjoy!

A wonderful and unique angle Pnina. Although I am at the monitor, there is still a strong urge to turn my head upwards! Excellent capture. Regards, Kelvin.

Some great details and angles here Pnina where many lines head toward a vanishing point. Nice to see some shadow detail too and a sky that is not blown out, not easy! The colours are what attracts my eye though, the earthy tones are very nice indeed. I also like the horizontal line at the bottom, provides a firm base to the image and stops the eye from roaming off the frame, but at the top, the eye is free to travel as far as it pleases.

Ben, for stopping by, the 10/22 was bought a year ago, now is the 30 D and 70/200 F4.

Daily, thanks for your nice wording.

Mike , It is one of the few taken with the 10/22mm at 10 mm that I'm pleased with its result, I have to work more with that one. I'm glad to read your impressions.

Jack! so glad to see you again, did you finish with the sorting headache;-))? I hope so and looking forward to see more of your immagination !

Kelvin, Thanks for all of them, your work was a nice opening to my morning!

Howard, Thanks for "looking up"....

Pnina - you are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I am in Boston with Sarah (and will soon see Linda & Roger). We spent yesterday running around the city, and I was experimenting with my 10-22 ... really tried doing some fun stuff with the 10mm end of the range.

This is nice ... I love how the windows on the left draw the eye upwards toward the statue at the top. Nice!

Lou Ann, thanks for your concern, not an easy time for us. PN is my distraction from the hard news. I hope all 4 of you are having a good time and nice photographic results, It will be nice to see your results with the 10mm.....

Thanks Klaus and Biswajit!

I like how the window draws the eye upwards and the other strong foreground shapes all go together to show us the confident and extrovert gothic architecture. And beautiful light of course...

Good news about the cease-fire.
