You caught that at just the right moment. The way the skin of the water is still on the person's face, it looks like some goopy syrup.

I put the cam on 5fps/ai-servo AF and waited for the moment that my girlfriend (in reallife she's much prettier:-) ) broke the surface-tention. The watersurfacetention is so strong that it forms a bowl over her head. I noticed this that day when i blinked my eye and thought it would be great on a photograph. so there it is!

Nice idea and well captured overall ... Thanks for the clarification and the explanation ... It has a nice surreal effect on the viewer and I was not sure how exactly you have captured it .. Well done man, it would have been very hard to get the exact moment as the water lasts only a split second when she surfaced ... Keep up the nice works and I will wait for more of your shots ..
