Used Orton blending to get effect

The effect is very nice indeed. Beautiful colors and lighting. I think the composition could be improved-- maybe cropped to almost a square?

Dennis, I love the effect you've got here. I'd love to know how you did it. It gives an incredible depth and feeling to the shot. I'm quite jealous.

... duplicate the image, copy it as a layer with the original, do a heavy gaussian blur on the duplicate image, and then use the "Multiply" on the layers. You can get more complete instructions on the web about the technique. Good luck.
