jim_mccarthy 0 Posted August 7, 2006 I love the color and the sky but the skydiver is a big shadow. I believe great pictures need to tell a story or to deepen the curiosity of things and because the focus of the shot is dark, I lost my curiosity with what's going on. I'll bet this picture was hard to take. I still like it though. Link to comment

steve_bingham 0 Posted August 7, 2006 Great shot. The composition is excellent, as is the strong color. If you have PS CS2 you might consider Image/Adjust/Shadow-highlights. Try opening up the shadows a little. If you shot raw, do a double conversion, one regular and one for the shadows and use a mask to blend. Or use a simple luminance masking trick as described on my web page under Photoshop Tips (takes less than a minute once you know how). Great eye. Great capture. The final "print" just needs work.
