gdanmitchell 0 Posted August 6, 2006 Nice, classic, black and white image. A couple of thoughts and reactions, for whatever they might be worth: 1. It might be possible to crop a bit tighter - perhaps eliminate a bit of the space on the right and at the top, and maybe even a bit at the bottom. 2. A bit of selective burning and dodging might be effective. Perhpas bring up the ligh areas of the wood a bit? Nice work. Dan Link to comment

dilip_kumar_singha 0 Posted October 23, 2006 Excellent black & white. Beautiful & classic presentation like a painting. Congratulations! If you don't mind then I want to ask, how do you manage to get so much of contrast between the roots and the soil? Link to comment
dennismk 0 Posted October 23, 2006 I think I used the center meter on the D 70 to expose for the tree and locked it and took the picture. in the print there are more shades of grey in the black areas. I printed using an Epson 2200 set on black ink only and it turned out great. Thank you all for your comments. Link to comment
