markboyer 0 Posted August 8, 2006 While on vacation in Mexico, we took a sunset horseback ride. Not only was this old guy as slow as could be (which was fine for this city boy), every five yards or so he stopped to much a little grass. When we got to the top of the mountain, he got to eat at leisure; and that's when I got this shot with Diana's point-and-shoot camera. I think his personality comes through a bit. Just look at that face and mouthful of grass. Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Mark, His gentle breath enfolds you, and he watches with those eyes. He may not have a Ph D, but he is, oh so wise! His head rests on your shoulder. You embrace him oh so tight. He puts your world in balance, and makes it seem all right. LOL Link to comment

wowfactorpix 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Mark, this horse looks like he's been saddled up for a Tibetan to ride. The differing heights of the stirrups suggest a rider with one leg longer than the other. Some say that people living in mountainous regions have uneven legs so they can walk around the sides of the mountains easier! :-) As this is a light hearted shot, I'd be inclined to punch the contrast and saturation a little to compensate for the very soft lighting. Thanks for critiquing my photo Titan's Vault II. Much appreciated. Link to comment
