stephan dietrich 0 Posted August 6, 2006 Not a typical landscape ... but, rather than photograph the obvious (lake with mountain and trees), the character and bleaching of this old fallen tree and extended branch captured my attention. Having to step into the water, angle up my wide angle within six inches of the subject ... I was able to capture something new in something that is old. gdanmitchell 0 Posted August 6, 2006 Hi: Very nice photo. I prefer the black and white version of this image, since the colorful sky is not really the main subject. To my eye, the focus is more on the shape and texture of the old snag in the b&w version. Dan Link to comment
