skersell33 0 Posted August 4, 2006 A fun picture of I my daughter taken at a local park as the wind was blowing her hair around. You can view the color version in my portfolio as well. I'm not sure which one I like more. Feedback/comments +/- greatly appreciated. Link to comment
lynnmarie 0 Posted August 4, 2006 I think this is a striking shot of a lovely little girl. Her blowing hair gives a natural, unposed look to the image. Nice contrast of tones from her dark eyes to her light hair. Nice job! Link to comment
dusty2004 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Hello Sherry. It is your desire to become professional one day. If this is any indication I have no doubt that you will succeed. Lovely candid shot capturing that sweet innocense. Nicely framed and cropped. Just lovely. Cheers. Link to comment
skersell33 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Thank you so much for the compliments Roy. I started expirimenting with photography about 5 years ago. Started with this Pronea APS camera up in the mountains... as we are a family that likes to camp. My husband was the one with the experience and knowledge. After our first trip together taking pictures, we realized that he was the one with the technical knowledge and I was the one with the vision. We then moved on to the Nikon F100, then with much convincing to the digital Nikon D1. I just recently started a small photography business. My market target being mommies (particularly at-home mom's) that are looking to have fun, fresh and creative pictures of their children at an affordable price. Pro photographers charge a lot of $$ for a single hour session here in the states. Anyway, I just landed my first job with a baby/toddler model agency for an all-day (outdoor) mini photo shoot to update portraits... a possible total of 10 sessions. My best work is with childrenWish me luck! By the way, your work is stunning and I love the way you capture that huck fin look and your models (children?) are just perfect for it! Have a beautiful day! Link to comment
dusty2004 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Hi Sherry. On nightshift catching up with a few people. It's always a wonderful experience to see our dreams come to fruition. It's great to know that great things are happening for you. I wish you all the very best and may each day smile upon you and your husband. Sounds like a great team. One with a vision the other the skills. My dream now is to create a Monet garden. I am well on the way. Best wishes. Cheers. Link to comment
