i found this in the Negresco hotel on Promenade des Anglais, in Nice.

It was beautiful, it was emotional and colourful. And not very well

lit.. Wide open apperture and very slow shutter speed... but i think

it came out well.

 

I just wish I could have this one at home... :)

Remarkably good image under the circumstances you describe. What a statue! But it's the background that makes my jaw drop.

One of your absolute best photos, Vi!! The background and foreground are SO different, yet complement each other so well. I love the shapes and designs, and the black against the bright colors, and the forms in the black object. Wonderful!!!

I walked every day on the Promenade des Anglais, Vi! Very nice shot, capturing the detail in the black sculpture like that. I agree with Chris, though, the background is quite amazing!

the background gives the sculpture a jewel-like appearance, definitely impressive!

This is a wonderful shot, full of color and captivating in so many ways.
