I like it but I think the dates are irrelevant and distracting.

Dates are probably mentioned by Jeff to notice the different textures of the earth at different moments of the year...

A fabulous idea and really well done. Getting the same perspective after so much time is admirable. The dates are extremely important to the concept, perhaps you could be less imposing with their presentation, and let them express their own power and relevance (Nice drop shadow, by the way)... t

Very good. I would replace the exact dates with a more general "Summer" for the parched earth and ... I am not sure what for the lower one. Fall/Monsoon or something. In fact I like the upper photo just by itself.

BUT, the series doesn't do much for me. I think it does effectively show how a spot can change over time, but I don't think the bottom image is strong by itself. Whereas the top image is very strong all by itself. I think the series would be better if both images were strong enough to stand on their own.

The dates should be there and the photos are great. I liked the top by itself but I like them together even more. I would have loved to have taken these shots.
