sam starkey 0 Posted August 2, 2006 Doug, My bad comment is this. The photograph was taken one day sooner than it should have been. There aren't enough telephone poles or wires and the building is painted the wrong color.Just kidding!I like it.The old weathered wood and faded paint make me feel like I am standing in the photograph.Oh by the way I commented on on the floor boards and joist from your old school and went to post it and the photograph was gone. (Don't do that to me)It was a good critique and I spent some time with it all in vain.6/6 Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted August 2, 2006 Sam, when you get our age, meaningful things and meaningful people just disappear, surviving only in memory. I was getting you accustomed to it. Thanks for appreciating this, particularly since you see everything in black and white. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 3, 2006 Another good one. The decay is rampant, but there is enough left to remind us of what a vibrant functioning entity this probably was in its time. I envision a warm place and a coffee pot where the farmers could come in and sit around and commiserate. A sad homage to a day gone by. Link to comment
